High-Profile Civil Law Experience

Ms. DiMare has represented numerous high-profile clients, and she has also handled disputes and cases for victims who did not have the financial resources to hire a lawyer, including personal injury, civil rights violations and Title IX abuses in schools. She is a trained mediator and engages in private dispute resolution in her cases.

As lead counsel and second-chair counsel, she tried multiple jury trials in state and federal court, including police misconduct cases where she represented Boston police officers. Following this, she worked for the Boston office of a midsized Washington, D.C., firm, and then began practicing in California, where she has handled a variety of cases in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level. She is admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and California, and she has practiced in other states through the pro hac vice motion process.

An Experienced And Passionate Advocate For Justice

Carla DiMare is an experienced civil trial attorney who began her legal career serving two judicial clerkships, one in Massachusetts Superior Court and one in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in Boston. From there, she worked for the City of Boston Law Department, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and handled a variety of cases in state and federal court.
